Wherever you want to go, take the bus!
The province of Savona's bus company (TPL) runs a convenient network of services across the region, for both short or longer journeys. Bus 40 stops at every resort along the coast between Andora and Finale Ligure with daytime and evening services every 30 minutes, whilst buses 92 and 99 serve Moglio and Solva respectively.
If you do not have a car but still want the convenience of travelling where and when you want, then a taxi is the right option for you.
There is a taxi rank in Piazza Quartino, at the exit to the railway station. It is available 24 hours a day to help you get around the town, take a trip to the countryside or to travel further afield. Just call +39 0182 640040 to book your trip.
The railway station is in a very convenient location, just a short walk from the shopping streets and the beach.
Alassio station offers long-distance services to Genoa and Milan or Monaco and Nice in France. If you are planning on visiting on of the other resorts along the Ligurian coast, we recommend using the frequent regional (regionale) trains.
