This walk between Alassio and Laigueglia is not only very straightforward and suitable for all, it is also an ideal route at any time of year.
Indeed, as you walk along the shore line, you can smell the scent of the sea and hear the relaxing sound of the waves breaking on the beach. Along this 3 km long trail there are also numerous benches where you can take a break and savour the moment!
The Coscia Tower was built in the 16th century to defend our town against invaders coming from the sea. One of only a few such towers still standing, it seems to still be protecting us.
La Cappelletta is one of our favourite viewpoints perched just above the waves. It offers truly incredible views over the Baia del Sole.
In 1953 Mario Berrino began decorating a little wall, or Muretto, opposite Caffè Roma, creating an open-air art installation which continues to constantly evolve.
