Alassio boasts a great number of churches in a wide range of architectural styles reflecting different periods of history.
The town’s 19 churches are a precious part of our heritage, which reflect the history of the town and its people. From Renaissance to Romanesque-Gothic and Baroque, there is a wide range of diverse architectural styles. The interiors of each of these churches also reveal wonderful works of art such as the floorings, frescoes, doorways, wooden statues and sculptures carved out of black stone.
