Tourist tax

Between April 1 and October 31, all accommodation providers, including holiday apartments, must apply the tourist tax.

Like many tourist destinations, Alassio has introduced a tourist tax which applies from April 1 to October 31. The exact fee varies depending on the type and category of the accommodation, from a minimum of €0.50 to a maximum of €1.50 per person per night, up to a maximum of 5 consecutive nights in the same accommodation.
Children aged under 12, coach drivers and tour guides accompanying an organised group of at least 20 people, as well as people with disabilities and those requiring dependent care are exempt from the tourist tax.
