At the Festival della Cucina dei Fiori, the festival for cookery with flowers, you can learn all about the many wild flowers that grow on the hills around the town and how to use them in your cooking.
 
A joint venture with the Associazione Ristoranti della Tavolozza, this 4-day event is devoted to anyone with a keen interest in good food, hiking, and foraging (picking wild herbs and plants). Through the tastings, workshops, show cooking, cookery lessons, and walks in the hills you can learn how to recognise edible wild flowers and how to use them in your recipes.

A real treat to see chefs and professionals in action as they prepare delicacies with edible flowers and tell little secrets of the trade. 

A unique opportunity to learn about the use of so many colorful and fragrant flowers in the kitchen and understand their unique aroma and taste characteristics.
