Second edition of the innovative contest combining passion for sailing and the culinary arts.
On board the boats in navigation, professional and amateur chefs will challenge each other in the preparation of a dish with a free theme, enhancing the authentic flavours of the territory with the use of wild herbs from Cosio d'Arroscia, in the Ligurian Alps Park, and flowers from Tastee.it in Albenga.
The creations will be assessed by a jury of chefs and experts in the sector, chaired by the winners of the first edition: Riccardo Farnese of the ‘Da U Titti’ restaurant in Lingueglietta (first prize) and Giuliano Tommasini of the Cadò restaurant in Cosio d'Arroscia (special prize).
The programme:
10 a.m.-12.30 p.m. sailing in front of the town, following delivery of the dishes to the jury in the pre-determined order
2.00 pm Yacht & Flowers contest prize-giving.
