Via XX Settembre, Via Vittorio Veneto and Via Brennero form the area known as Budello, a long traditional Ligurian lane of historic buildings, bars, boutiques and shops.
Alassio boasts a great number of churches in a wide range of architectural styles reflecting different periods of history.
In 1953 Mario Berrino began decorating a little wall, or Muretto, opposite Caffè Roma, creating an open-air art installation which continues to constantly evolve.
La Cappelletta is one of our favourite viewpoints perched just above the waves. It offers truly incredible views over the Baia del Sole.
The Coscia Tower was built in the 16th century to defend our town against invaders coming from the sea. One of only a few such towers still standing, it seems to still be protecting us.
