I have a degree in tourism and cultural heritage promotion and my two great loves are travelling and photography. I want to use my photos to introduce you to the incredible beauty of Liguria and my town, Alassio, because nowhere is as beautiful as the place we call home!
Three absolutely unmissable places on any visit to Alassio are Bestoso quay, Muretto and La Cappelletta.
Bestoso quay is one of the symbols of Alassio, a great place for gazing out to sea. I recommend coming here to relax, take some romantic selfies or just go for a walk with your four-legged friend. On the end of the jetty is an enormous compass rose which is well worth checking out.
Muretto is a symbol of the city. It features more than 1,000 tiles autographed by famous people from the world of show business, sport and culture. Legend has it that if you drink the water from the fountain next to Muretto (the water of Saint Anna) you are sure to return to Alassio one day. You can also give your pet a drink because there is a fountain for them too!
La Cappelletta is one of the most romantic and peaceful places in the town. It offers a captivating view of the sea and the Luca Ferrari marina. It makes for the perfect location for some photos to remember your holiday. When you visit Alassio, I really recommend you include La Cappelletta on your itinerary.

In 1953 Mario Berrino began decorating a little wall, or Muretto, opposite Caffè Roma, creating an open-air art installation which continues to constantly evolve.
La Cappelletta is one of our favourite viewpoints perched just above the waves. It offers truly incredible views over the Baia del Sole.
Come with me on the old track to Solva, a trail built on history, traditions, and nature.
